A Modest Style Only Bridal Store.
Chatfields Bridal Boutique:
Although we have over 200 wedding dresses in the shop to try on, we are still considered a small shop, and have only one dressing room. We strongly recommend making an appointment- especially for brides driving more than 2 hours. Chatfields is the only all-modest bridal store in the Central Midwest and many brides drive from states away.
Please also note that our shop is on the second floor without an elevator.
Vintage-Inspired

Plus Sizes
Alternative sizing represents full figure women. Half the shop is dedicated to Plus Size Brides - we have a significant inventory of dresses 14 to 30.

What to Expect
All our gowns are under $1000!
Modest wedding dresses are $250 to $1000.
To order a gown a 50% deposit is required. Once a gown is ordered from the Designer, we cannot cancel the order. The shop will notify the bride the gown has arrived and arrangements can be made at that time with the seamstress. The shop will give a gentle steam to the dress, however a final steaming should be scheduled either with the seamstress or with a professional dry cleaner.
Bridal bags are available for purchase when the gown arrives.

Some of the designers we carry are available on the internet. We meet those prices and hope you will consider our store for your purchase.

Extras
Our dressing area can be blocked off from the front of the store, ensuring a very private appointment.
Feel free to bring a camera. However pictures should be taken in the dressing area and not the front of the store. Each bride will receive a "My Favorites" form that shows what dresses were the favorite and pricing.
We have a wonderful seamstress who works with our shop. She owns Custom Alterations and has over 30 years of experience. She has raised necklines, made longer sleeves and much more to help us accommodate brides that need additional modesty.

Pretty Dresses
We kindly ask that you not wear lipstick or heavy makeup when trying on the dresses. Also please remove watches and other jewelry that may snag the dresses. We want our dresses to be pretty for all girls.
